What's in the distribution?

This distribution contains the non-WHQL version of the Voodoo2 Control
Panel Applet.  This version enables the following functions on the
Advanced Properties menu of the control panel:

Direct3D Advanced Properties
----------------------------
* Don't sync buffer swaps to monitor refresh rate for Direct3D apps
* Disable Voodoo2 Direct3D Support

Glide Advanced Properties
-------------------------
* Don't sync buffer swaps to monitor refresh rate for Glide apps

The 3Dfx Voodoo2 reference drivers ship with a WHQL compliant version
of the Voodoo2 Control Panel Applet that does not expose the above
functions.

Installation 
=======================================================================

1) Install the latest 3Dfx Voodoo2 reference drivers if they haven't
   already been installed.

2) Copy or extract the 3DfxV2ps.dll file included with this distribution
   into your Windows 95/98 system directory (normally C:\Windows\System),
   replacing the existing version.
