a. DOS mode

Please follow the steps to update BIOS in DOS mode:

Step 1: Create a bootable disk.
Step 2: Decompress the tm290_170A.zip file to this bootable disk 
Step 3: Insert the bootable disk into floppy driver (or external USB floppy driver)
Step 4: Press <F2> to enter BIOS setup, choose [Boot] on the top menu, follow the instructions to select 
"Floppy Drive" as first boot device, then save and exit.
Step 5: Execute the bios.bat file to update BIOS after system boot in DOS mode. 


b. Windows mode

Please follow the steps to update BIOS in Windows mode:

Step 1 : Please download the WinFlash utility and tm290_170awin.zip.

Step 2 : Decompress the file tm290_170awin.zip into the same folder

Step 3 : Execute the WinFlash utility and follow the instructions to update BIOS.
