Please follow all the steps to upgrade the easyStore from v1.2 to v1.4 :

WARNING: ALL THE DATA WILL BE ERASED WITH THIS PROCEDURE!!!

1) Please download the latest firmware from the Support Website ( http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/server/altos_easystore.html )
2) Do a backup/copy of all the data inside the easyStore on an other machine
3) Shutdown the system by pressing the front button for some seconds until the info led blinks.
4) Pull out all the Hard Disk Drive
5) PowerOn the easyStore
6) Run the System Console to find the easystore. Check the IP Class and log into it by the browser
7) Insert all the Hard Disk Drive, one by one. Please wait the led activation before inserting an other disk
8) Press "scan" button and then select the new firmware
9) Select the new firmware
10) Press next and then follow the wizard to reconfigure the storage.

Note: We reccomends to create a RAID 5 to have more space and redundancy.
