This document contains last minute information about Movie Machine products.


German or English version:
==========================

This installation disk contains both German and English versions of the software.
If the Language Setting in the Control Panel is set to GERMAN, the German version
will be installed. Any other setting installs the English version.


AVI movies and broadcasting standards:
======================================

If you want to play an AVI movie through Movie Studio to a system whose
broadcasting standard is different to the source standard, the "SYSTEM IN" marker 
in the "VIDEO OUT" dialog box has to be set according to the source standard.

Example:	If you are playing a PAL AVI to a NTSC VCR, the "SYSTEM IN"
		marker has to be set to "PAL". 

You might have to try the check boxes "BOTH FIELDS" and "SCALE OUTPUT" for best 
results.


Additional Features in Software version 1.3:
============================================

Since completion of the manual, several short cuts and keyboard controls have been 
implemented in this version. Here you will find a complete list of the available 
key controls:

1. Movie TV:

Limitations of Software Version 1.3:
=====================================

Movie TV:
---------

OPTIONS / TV STATIONS / SCAN: this feature is only available for PAL-BG and  PAL-M 
broadcasting standards. For other TV standards, however, stations can be set 
manually.


Video overlay inside ADOBE PREMIERE:
====================================

Sometimes, it is not possible to play an AVI movie captured through Movie Machine /w
MJPEG option, when you are inside ADOBE PREMIERE. Instead, an error message pops up
("Adobe Premiere: MCI Error. Invalid device.").

The solution to this problem: before starting PREMIERE, simply open a standard windows
application (i.e. NOTEPAD.EXE), minimize it and then load PREMIERE. Next, when 
PREMIERE is opened, use the Windows Task Manager to get a full display of NOTEPAD 
and close it. Now you will be able to have your overlay displayed.
