BMC FW / SDR UPDATE procedure:
Please Update BMCFW / SDR by the following way.
NEVER REMOVE THE UPDATE FLOPPY DISK MEDIA, NEVER POWER OFF OR NEVER RESET WHILE UPDATE PROGRAM IS RUNNING, OR Update DATA WILL BE CRASHED AND THE SYSTEM WILL BE UNABLE TO BOOT.

1. Prepare MS-DOS Version6.22 bootable FD(1.44MB) that includes command.com, io.sys, msdos.sys and ansi.sys in root directory by your MS-DOS.
   (This update kit does not include MS-DOS) .
   
2. Unzip the released zip file and copy all the files into the above bootable floppy disk.
   Released zipped file contains following files:
     AUTOEXEC.BAT	   	53		99/12/13	03:17p
     BMCFG.INF		71		00/04/14	02:50p
     BMCFW.DAT              	229,376		00/04/07	11:04a
     BMCSDRUP.EXE		57,902		00/03/03	03:55p
     BMCSDRUP.HLP		28,699		00/04/14	06:55p
     CONFIG.SYS		50		00/04/14	01:36p
     FRU.DAT			16,384		00/03/17	02:51p
     SDR.DAT			65,536		00/03/22	02:32p

3. Insert the Bootable update FD to FDD of Your Express5800 and power on.

4. FW update program starts after POST automatically, so operate as following:

(1) Current BMC FW/SDR version is showed on Display
      * If no version is showed, there is no problem for updating.
      Press ESC.
   (2) Select 'Update Firmware' in selectable menu.
   (3) There will be showed confirmation message of Update Firmware.
      Press Enter.

5. After updating written above, the system will be into DC OFF automatically.

6. You can confirm whether update was done successfully or not, by the messages in BIOS bootstrap:

       Base Board Management Controller
       Copyright (c) 1999 NEC Corporation, All Rights Reserved

       IPMI Version    :1.0     Firmware version :01.09
       SDR Revision	: SDR Rev.01.16(XXXX)

       XXXXX: 0225 indicates that the system has Level 3 cache.
              0226 indicates that the system is Level 3 cache less model.
