NEVER REMOVE THE UPDATE FLOPPY DISK MEDIA, NEVER POWER OFF OR NEVER RESET WHILE UPDATE PROGRAM IS RUNNING, OR Update DATA WILL BE CRASHED AND THE SYSTEM WILL BE UNABLE TO BOOT. 1. Prepare MS-DOS Version6.22 bootable FD(1.44MB) that includes command.com, io.sys, msdos.sys and ansi.sys in root directory by your MS-DOS. (This update kit does not include MS-DOS) . 2. Unzip the released zip file and copy all the files into the above bootable floppy disk. Insert the Bootable update FD to FDD of Your Express5800 and power on. 4. FW update program starts after POST automatically, so operate as following: (1) Current BMC FW/SDR version is showed on Display * If no version is showed, there is no problem for updating. Press ESC. (2) Select 'Update Firmware' in selectable menu. (3) There will be showed confirmation message of Update Firmware. Press Enter. 5. After updating written above, the system will be into DC OFF automatically. 6.
